Arch

Arch is a registered local charity that has been dedicated to preventing and resolving homelessness and supporting victims of domestic abuse in Staffordshire and Cheshire for the last 20 + years.

We currently support around 3,500 people each year, including single people and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness as well as women, children and men who are affected by domestic abuse. Our services include; supported accommodation, support and advice for refugees, two women’s refuges, services for victims, survivors and perpetrators of domestic abuse and a Relationships without Fear Programme tackling the often taboo subject of domestic violence with children and young people. We are also proud to lead the Family Support Network which is a ground-breaking service made up of local voluntary sector organisations supporting vulnerable families in Stoke on Trent.

We are an organisation that is deeply committed to the best interests of our clients. Our principal motivator is making a difference to people’s lives and this is reflected in the passion and drive of our workforce as well as the decisions that are made at a senior level. We have a successful system of strategic and business planning which employees at all levels of the organisation and our clients are involved in. This means we remain in the best position to ensure the sustainability and growth of our services and therefore, our continuing support to some of the most vulnerable and socially excluded people in our area.
