Pure Creative Arts

Pure Creative Arts is a dynamic and multi- faceted company who work through music, theatre in education and workshops to challenge young people to discover their individual worth and potential. Where young people suffer from low self esteem and consequently struggle with issues such as eating disorders and self harm, Pure aim to work alongside them and show them how to deal with how they feel in a more constructive way and see how positive change can come about.
 
Pure is comprised of a touring theatre company that takes productions into schools and youth group settings across the nation, addressing issues that are relevant to young people with the aim of seeing them released into their full potential. The team also ensures that each production is followed by workshops that unpack the issues raised through the performance in an indepth and personal way.

Pure also runs a one-to-one mentoring scheme which young people in need of some extra support can access through their school. On a week to week basis, Pure also has team members that work in local schools running lunch-time or after-school Impact groups which give regular support and input to those attending.

As an organisation, Pure is passionate about seeing transformation in young people’s lives as they work with them through creative means, helping them tackle hard to talk about issues and realise their full potential.
