Animal Concern Cumbria

Founded in 1971 Animal Concern Cumbria is a rescue and re-homing charity based in West Cumbria.
We find animals loving homes, predominantly cats and dogs, who have been surrendered by owners that are no longer able to care for them, cats who have been left to fend for themselves, owners who have passed away with no provisions for their pets and changes in circumstances where pets are no longer able to stay with their owners.
We also help Trap-Neuter-Return ferals, attend events to raise awareness & fundraise and have work placements join us to see if Animal Care is their chosen career path.
