Over 68,000 people work in the UK’s ambulance services, and it’s a role that many consider a calling rather than a job. They’re here for you in your most vulnerable, tragic, and difficult moments, offering a calming and reassuring presence alongside life-saving medical treatment.

Yet, working in an ambulance service isn’t easy. Long hours, extreme pressures, and incredibly difficult call outs, together with life’s everyday stresses and strains, can take a real toll on them.

Sometimes they need a helping hand too, and TASC is here to provide them with independent and confidential support when they’re struggling with their mental, physical or financial wellbeing.

Not just for paramedics or staff out on the road, TASC is here to help anyone who is serving or has served in a UK ambulance service, including dispatch workers, support staff or managers. We can also support student paramedics and those who donate their time to support our ambulance services, such as Community First Responders.

· We’ve funded over 10,000 counselling sessions since the start of the pandemic.

· We’ve funded over 160 places at residential rehabilitation facilities since 2017.

· Our Ambulance Staff Crisis Phoneline supported over 800 people in its first two years alone.

· Those who came to us for financial guidance were around £368 a month better off.

As a UK charity, TASC receives no funding from ambulance trusts or the NHS to provide our general services.
