Age UK Lambeth empowers older people in Lambeth to achieve a full quality of life and reduces their loneliness and social isolation. It is an independent charity raising most of its funds locally. We operate a befriending service, and an activity centre for older people to meet others while learning a new skill, or just eating lunch together. We have a handyperson service to help people fix problem jobs that otherwise might prevent them from staying safe in their own homes, and we provide information and advice to older people and their carers.
