The British Heart Foundation’s (BHF) vision is a world free from the fear of heart and circulatory diseases. They raise money to research cures and treatments, so they can beat heartbreak forever.

But they can only do this with your support.

Heart and circulatory diseases still kill 1 in 4 in the UK; this is the world’s biggest killer and affects more than double the amount of people living with cancer and dementia combined. It causes heartbreak on every street and that’s why their work is as urgent and vital as ever.

The British Heart Foundation funds over £100 million of research each year into all heart and circulatory diseases and the things that cause them. Heart diseases. Stroke. Vascular dementia. Diabetes. They’re all connected by their research and they’re all under their microscope.

Their research is the promise to protect the people we love. Our parents. Our brothers. Our sisters. Our grandparents. Our closest friends. Research is who they are. The promise of future preventions, treatments and cures.

The BHF also has reliable, simple information about heart and circulatory diseases, and their risk factors. Whether you’ve been diagnosed with a condition or know someone who has, they are there for you.

We have been absolutely delighted to take part in the Giveacar scheme. We have had several cars donated to us through this scheme and it provides us with an additional way to riase very much needed funds to continue improving the lives of animals in The Gambia. It’s such an easy scheme to use and is easy for us as the charity, as well as being easy for th person who needs to scrap their car too.
